Result/Swatch: Kao Liese Bubble Hair Color Milk Tea Brown

Oh hello friends I'm back again with another post on the Kao Liese Bubble Hair Color dyes! I have done a few posts about these dyes and they have been very well-received. I figure I'll do more because it is very hard to find swatches on these dyes. I bought mine off Yesstyle and Yesstyle had this month of not selling a lot of the colors but now they are back with a new formula which I will be checking out soon! Too bad I bought another dye because I desperately needed to dye my hair but here's the link to buy the new and improved formula

If you would like to check out my others posts I'll link them here they will contain more tips if you're new to this particular brand of hair dye. This is another swatch/result post but please comment if you would like a more in-depth step by step guide and I'll be happy to do one for you!

Anyways I'm rambling what's new?

Here's the backstory about why I chose this color. Marshmallow Brown is my FAVORITE dye but I had to go with Milk Tea Brown because my hair was atrocious. What happened was I made a New Year's resolution to dye my hair completely black and I don't regret going back to black I just needed to see myself with dark hair again for some reason. But the dye I used *cough* Revlon Colorstay in Black Brown *cough* sucked. It sucked major ass (I know very professional language). You would think that you couldn't possibly go wrong with going to light to dark hair. Yeah no. It gave me the worst hair I had ever had, it was brown in patches, black in others and I needed an SOS.

This is why I chose Milk Tea Brown, it is the ultimate dye. You want to lighten your hair? Milk Tea Brown. You want even hair? Milk Tea Brown. You want to fix your mess of a hair? Milk Tea Brown. Does it have the most flattering color (for me)? No. Is it my favorite? No. But Milk Tea Brown is what you use when it goes wrong. It is the strongest in the Kao Liese range as in it's the brightest and most pigmented. This is why it's also one of the most popular because it gets shit done.

I recommend this to anyone who is wanting to lighten their hair. My hair was predominantly black/dark brown and I knew Milk Tea Brown would lighten it so if you have virgin hair this might be helpful. Would I recommend the color? Probably not. It's too brassy and overly orange/yellow. This is the perfect dye to use before you dye it over with something else. If you have virgin black asian hair this might be extra helpful!

Anyways here's the swatch both in sunlight!

If you'd like a face to the color I think it's very similar to the shade Naeun from A Pink has when she tries to go brown. I know the pictures aren't the most flattering but c'mon it's Naeun she's pretty no matter what. *Pictures are not mine, credits to those who created the screencaps!*

Thanks so much for reading! What color should I try next? x
