My All-Time Favorite Asian Dramas

http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_l8mi92j3mX1qzvnjp.jpg
Sorry I couldn't find the source, it was from Tumblr. This is from Hi My Sweetheart
I am a dead-set massive fan of Asian dramas. It beats k-pop any day besides my love for BIGBANG which is pretty much on the same level. That being said, I'm going to tell you guys my favorite Asian dramas of all time. Mostly they are Korean but my love for some other dramas beats most of them any day....Ok let's get started!

How is everyone's Sunday? I decided to shake up my blog a little bit and add in some more personal posts from time to time.
I've been having a really stressful time lately and I don't feel too good mood-wise. But my mind is at ease when I watch a really good drama. It makes me feel happy and that's why I love them so much. It's my escape, my hobby and my reward.

My favorite drama of all time is Hi My Sweetheart I'm going to give you guys a small summary of it just because it's my ... favorite. It is Taiwanese, aired in 2009 and stars Show Luo and Rainie Yang. Two of the biggest names in the C-Pop scene. Can I just say...I love this, I love love love this drama. It makes me laugh, cry and feel all warm and fuzzy inside. It's about a guy called Hseuh Hai who decides to go to Hangzhou for school (college) to get away from his overbearing Da Jie (older sister). Da Jie changes his name to Lin Da Lung and he assumes a 'poor' background so people don't take advantage of him because in reality, he's rich as hell. He's dorky, cute, positive, funny and an all-round good person (for a good part of the drama). He has a mushroom haircut which when you see it you'll be like.........ew............but after awhile you'll find yourself missing it. He meets this violent, takes-no-crap girl called Chen Bao Chu. And thus.....begins their story. I love this because, I've always been a fan of couple that seem like polar opposites. Show Luo and Rainie have such sparking chemistry. It's fault is the end, it's...very.....frustrating and seems to go round and round but I don't mind it, there are some moments that make it completely worth it. Watch it guys. Ah I miss it already and I re watched all 14 episodes only two days ago..

OTHER DRAMAS:

City Hunter, Korean drama, 2011, Lee Min Ho and Park Min Young lead. (The chemistry between these two are smashing, I like the balance of drama, romance and action).

Secret Garden, Korean drama, 2010, Hyun Bin and Ha Ji Won lead. (Romance and comedy wrapped up nicely with a bow).

Ouran High School Host Club, Japanese drama, 2011, Yamamoto Yusuke and Kawaguchi Haruna lead. (FUNNY FUNNY FUNNY, ridiculously silly).

Flower Boy Ramyun Shop, Korean drama, 2011, Jung Il Woo and Lee Chung Ah lead. (The best of the Flower Boy series on tvn, so funny).

Protect The Boss, Korean drama, 2011, Ji Sung and Choi Kang Hee lead. (This cracked me up).

My Girlfriend is a Gumiho, Korean drama, 2010, Lee Seung Gi and Shin Min Ah lead. (Ball of fun, cute and adorable).

Arang and the Magistrate, Korean drama, 2012, Lee Jun Ki and Shin Min Ah lead. (Favorite saguek, a lot more light-hearted than some but still high on drama).

Boys Over Flowers, Korean drama, 2009, Lee Min Ho and Goo Hye Sun lead. (Classic, cheesy, leaves little to the imagination but that's why it's easy to watch).

Other dramas I liked but don't LOVE immensely as I do the others.
You're Beautiful, Coffee Prince, Rooftop Prince, Princess' Man, Dream High, Ojakgyo Brothers, My Girl, Hana Yori Dango, Meteor Garden, Princess Hours, Switch Girl, The Winter The Wind Blows, Bogoshipda and Full House.

Dramas I didn't like
Fashion King, Dream High 2, Playful Kiss
