Review: Rimmel Lasting Finish Nail Polish #058 Lemon Drop

A quick nail polish review on what's on my nails right now!

So I was really inspired by Naeun (A Pink) who in her early episodes of We Got Married with Taemin had these really cute pastel candy colors on her nails! It was so youthful yet chic. My favorite was definitely the pale yellow and I just had to get my hands on a cheaper alternative.

My nails with the color.
I was at Target one day and I saw this particular nail polish. The color was adorable, light enough yet bright enough to be bold. It was 5 or 6 dollars (AU) and in comparison to the other yellow polishes which were 12-15 dollars I sure enough bought it.

The opacity is a little lacking, for a color like this I didn't think I'd be doing 3 coats. It's a little streaky as well so that's why it's important to do more than one coat at least. It smells slightly like fruit loops, as always with Rimmel and their fruity scents. So far it's pretty long lasting! I've been wearing for this for over a week almost two weeks and it's only chipped in the last two days. Which is pretty good since nail polishes tend to chip in less than a week for me. There is no cracking and dirt doesn't stain the nail polish. Looks exactly how it does when I first put it on.

The color is perfect! I love it. I personally recommend wearing it like Naeun, where her nails are short. It's very fresh and I personally think it slims your fingers.

I definitely recommend this. Even if you're slightly yellow under-toned, it's the perfect pale yellow.

Thanks for reading!!
