Review: 3CE Apple Tint in Pink

I am so excited to make this review for you all. I was introduced to the Korean brand 3CE while browsing at Stylenanda and I HAD TO GET SOMETHING. Their makeup range is so amazing. I had no idea what to expect but this Apple tint is sweet. And and and let's just get into it

Although it is sold at Stylenanda I bought mine from Yesstyle.

The packaging is really stubby and durable. It has the feel of thick metal and is glossed in a black matte finish. Embossed is the 3CE brand which is imperfectly drawn which adds to that effortless street style Stylenanda has going on with their clothes. It's a really stylish and minimalistic packaging. Once open it's exactly like a nail polish. The applicator is the same as nail polishes with the same length and look, it's pretty cool actually.

I bought this in pink as I was watching You Who Came From the Stars (k-drama which you MUsT wATCH!!!!!!!!) and you are not a true fan if you do not want Cheon Song Yi's LIP COLORS. After becoming a long hoarder of corals, oranges and reds I finally bought a true pink shade which strangely people like on me more. (Welp guess I was wrong). I was expecting this color to be sort of a light pink and I was disappointed at first to see it was more of a bubblegum pink, a lot more bright than initially expected.

The texture is very watery which is expected of most tints especially Korean ones. It can be streaky to apply but it's a lot easier to blend because of it's movable texture. It does feel like water on the lips. Despite it's texture it's surprisingly not sheer at all but still sheerer than a stain. My lips are super pigmented and this tint showed up 1000000% more than I expected. And you can really build up the intensity. As it is a tint is does last for the entire day making it suitable for everyday wear but it is also drying. It does fade for me though after a few hours after eating which is the only fault as the drying can be combated by putting lip balm throughout the day.

The color is lovely. It goes a deeper shade once it sets and it's a color that leans neutral so any skin tone can wear this tint. In the swatches this is the lighter application and it's super subtle. It becomes even brighter on the lips transforming into a hot pink shade in a heavier application. It is the perfect shade of vibrant pink. It makes you look cute, bright and wide-awake. Similar to Cheon Song Yi even though she wears fuchsias and hot pinks she still looks natural. Instead of looking heavy it makes you look lifted and this product is perfect for that. Overall it's a really cute sheer tint that can be built up to a vibrant hot pink.

Hope you all have a nice day! Have any of you tried out 3CE products? x
